The Belgium Tour (or was it?)
David Behar
12 May 2008
It was almost the tour that never was. In fact, according to official records, it never happened, as Kensington could not raise a side to visit Belgium for the 23rd and 24th June weekend. However, for the unofficial record, four of us (the Aussies Nick Power and Joe Woodward, John Behar and myself) ended up making it to Belgium for the weekend, played in two great games of cricket and had a fantastic time. Thanks to Mechelen and Arcadians of Gent CCs for making it possible for us to play and for looking after us so warmly and hospitably. Staying Close

It is in this spirit of “making a game” that Kensington plays week in and week out during the season and we do have a good proportion of wonderfully close games. Long may this sporting spirit last. Here’s to staying close.   ...MORE
Down Memory Lane

17 Jul 2006
Dear Sunil, When we met at Richmond at the end of May, you wanted me to pen a few lines about Kensington CC as it was in the 1949/50 period when I was playing in the side as a 15-year-old. So, here you are – a few memories of yesteryear.    ...MORE
